Adam is the best coach/consultant I could have ever hoped for. He is highly perceptive and always asks the right questions, which really helps me to focus my story and frame it in a way that is most impactful. I believe what differentiates Adam from others is his 100% tailored approach to each person, where he really seeks to understand the person’s experiences/values/personalities before providing advice, rather than using a clinical/cookie-cutter approach to construct an application. Throughout the process, I felt that his advice was truly unique and personalized for me. His method was instrumental in helping me develop an authentic personal voice in my applications, which I was proud to submit.
In terms of communication style, Adam is calm, composed, and very encouraging. At the same time, he does not hesitate to provide candid feedback when something is not working and will also push me to reflect deeper on certain experiences to craft better stories. He also clearly knows what the AdComs look out for and is thus able to provide the right advice throughout the process – from application to mock interviews. This makes working with him extremely efficient and effective.
