I first connected with Adam in early 2023 when I was wondering if I should apply in R3  which he advised me against given my level of preparation. When I set out to apply in R1 later in the year I did an elaborate exercise speaking to almost all the consultants in the market (20+) that work with Indian students. I kept going back to my conversation with Adam, as no one I spoke to could match Adam’s clarity, reason, and authenticity. As I look back after a long 10 month journey, I am glad I worked with Adam on my applications, otherwise the result would have been different.

Adam was there for me at every step, literally every step – whether it was 5 minutes before the submission deadline (even though it was wee hours of the morning for him) or five months before the deadline helping me introspect. His years of experience in this field has exposed him to every possible question you will have and situation you will find yourself in (or put yourself in) – making him an amazing ally. Whether it was stupid questions on the form, doubts on having conversations with my recommenders or editing the essay –  his strict feedback, backed by solid logic, became the reassuring voice of reason in my journey.

While there is no doubt Adam is amazing at what he does, he is also an excellent human being who holds himself to the highest professional and ethical standards. While this is a quality most assume to not necessarily be correlated to the outcome – trust me – as the deadline gets closer, and you need your consultant more and more, and you find yourself competing for their time with all their clients – Adam is the kind of human you want on your side. Adam continued to believe me even as rejections started to roll in, becoming a true anchor in my journey.

Adam’s amazing mind also makes him an extremely insightful interview coach. As I struggled with performance pressure, personal biases, my own insecurities – he helped me identify them and deal with them upfront. His mocks, which in his words were “safe spaces where you can fuck up” were invaluable for my final preparation were the single-most important reason for my success on the final day.
