The first time I applied to graduate school I used one of the large admissions consulting companies and I was denied without interview at every school I applied to. With Adam’s help I was interviewed at Stanford GSB and was admitted to Wharton. During my first year at Wharton, with Adam’s help, I was admitted to the 3-year dual MPA/MBA program at Harvard Kennedy School/Wharton. Many of the people at the large admissions consulting companies lack experience and I think that’s what Adam brings to the table (along with raw intelligence). Having worked with a large and diverse group of applicants over many years, he has gained an intuitive feel for what will be effective for different profiles. The improvement between my first draft essays and the ones I submitted was vast. Adam has a great character and while he isn’t afraid to tell it as it is, he also has the ability to take some of stress out of the process with his support (and humor!).
