Accepted at: Darden, Duke, Kellogg and Ross

Applied to: 6 schools, Interviewed in: 5 schools, Admitted to: 4 schools, Decided on: Kellogg

Background:
I applied to several schools in R1 without Adam’s help. While I was preparing for R2 apps, I started getting rejection from almost all my R1 schools. I was shocked and was desparately trying to figure out what went wrong with my applications. I seeked Adam’s help for Ding Ananlysis of one school and he made room in his busy schedule for my ding analysis request. The analysis was really eye-opening – I came to know about some obstacles that I am handicapped with and some I can overcome through changing my application strategy.

Adam’s support:
1) Appropriate Application Strategy:
I am self-sponsored, so a bit deprived of the natural positive attention of AdCom for company-sponsored people. At the same time I must be considered for extra scruitinies to be able to prove my market value in the post-MBA recruiting game. I believe that Adam is well aware of this situation for self-sponsored people and can advice accordingly. Also, I would say he is one of the best out here for interview strategies. He provided me with useful insights on my answers and dos/don’ts during mock interviews.

My R2 success is overwhelming compared to R1. I applied to 6 schools and got 5 interview invitations and 4 acceptances.

2) Holistic Approach:
Adam always checks for consistency and any missing element in essays after final preparation – I believe this way the application is refined more holistically and presents the applicant better. His questions are probing enough to bring out significant lifestories and connections between them. When I look back my application now, I believe that as a package I could not have provided better.

3) Professionalism:
Adam is a true professional. He is very focused and he always commented honestly – even if that is just before the submission. It helped me to polish my essays more When critical deadlines were close, he almost supported 24/7 – that is really amazing. Also, he cares about client’s budget I believe. Adam always thought about the most cost-effective way and advised accordingly which I am very thankful to him since I am self-sponsored.

In conclusion, I can say certainly there was a very positive overhaul in my application strategy, look, feel and presentation after I worked with Adam in R2. There are many admission counselors and my personal opinion is that applicants should choose counselor on the basis of their own preferences. For me, Adam’s personality, professionalism and his ability to look through the application package holistically worked the best. I cannot thank him more for all the invaluable assistances
