Accepted at: Chicago Booth and Kellogg

Adam has been instrumental with my securing admission at Booth and Kellogg, both with generous offers of scholarship.  As I was a military applicant writing applications while I was on my duties, I was not able to fully take advantage of his wide range of services such as frequent FaceTime consultations and prompt back-and-forth feedbacks on the overall application processes.  But Adam proved absolutely professional, flexible and understanding enough to accommodate my logistical challenge.
At the beginning of the application process, I debated whether I should work with someone who will not be available face-to-face.  But the earlier interviews with Adam quickly dispelled my worries, as he soon grasped the strengths and weaknesses of my application and made suggestions as to how I should structure my overall application package.  His strength comes from having worked with a variety of applicants over the past decade from diverse backgrounds and being a witness to strategies that worked successfully in the past (If you consider yourself an unusual MBA applicant, you should definitely work with Adam!).  His approach to admission consulting is honest (Adam won’t write essays for you and will discourage you from being dishonest with yourself when he can smell irregularities on your application), straightforward (he will not waste time to point out something that is for sure not going to work), and meticulous (his comments and organizational prowess provided structure and rigor to my approach to the hectic application processes).
If you consider hiring an MBA application consultant, you may have already shopped around and read reviews of other so-called “professionals” who offer to judge the probabilities of your getting into top MBA programs.  Strictly speaking, you, as an applicant, only face two outcomes, “Yes” or “No”, and there is no gradation in between.  These numbers only give you peace of mind that doesn’t really help you find your voice in your essays.  Adam differs fundamentally from other consultants in that he will be your friend, coach and mentor who will guide you through the intricate labyrinth of MBA application to find your inner voice and create a professional and impeccable application package that is marketable to admission officers.  Moreover, he can accommodate your budget, in case you have financial constraints to work around.  And his pricing is more than reasonable!  In retrospect, applying to MBA programs has been an opportunity to have a sincere, genuine discourse with myself, and Adam has been a great mentor, supporting me throughout the psychologically exhausting ordeal.
The bottom line is, if you are applying for MBA programs, you definitely should hire a consultant.  It’s a small investment in the overall scheme of things; especially given the amount of merit scholarships available at many top schools, a well-structured essay that reveals the kind of interesting person you are may more than reimburse the initial outlays involved.  Should you choose to hire a consultant, it has to be Adam, simply because he is a fun person to work with, who will be your go-to person to ask any questions at any time of the day.  Working with Adam was the best choice I made in the 6-month long journey to an MBA program of my dreams.
