When I started to apply, I was dreaming of getting into a top-tier global MBA program. I, however, wasn’t too sure of my chances for more than one reason. First, I belonged to an over-represented category (Indian + IIT) and second, I had a weak academic GPA in my undergraduate program. To top off things, I had been working in an unconventional stream which made my job of aligning my career goals with the MBA extremely tough. I was unable to build a clear idea of what to present to the admission committees and was in dire need of a helping hand. I started to look for consultants, who could help me clear my thought process and Adam stood out of the pack. Going through his blogs, I could see that his suggestions were not obvious or general in any way; rather he had a very deep and thorough knowledge of the subtle differences between the major MBA programs. I tested a few other consultants as well but they all always demotivated me by telling me that I am aiming for schools out of my reach. Adam, on the other hand, motivated me to try for the schools I dream of and supported me extremely well during the process. I got through Columbia Business School and I have to admit that Adam had a huge role to play in my success. Comparing my essays before and after Adam helped me out, I could clearly gauge a huge difference between the clarity of my thoughts. He was always supportive and respected my deadlines with utmost responsibility. Except for situations when he was understandably pre-occupied with his B-school trips, he never delayed his response to my essay versions. Additionally, he also helped me polish my interviewing skills which obviously helped me in bagging a place in my dream school. If it wasn’t for Adam, I would probably be joining an MBA program with a school I wasn’t particularly excited to join and I sincerely thank him for all the assistance he provided. I would very strongly recommend him to anyone who is having problems in making his/her application stand out in the crowd.
